Accreditation as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Australia is a significant undertaking, with significant requirements for trainers and assessors. Herein, we provide an overview of the current requirements that these professionals need to meet in order to work with RTOs. Trainers and assessors working within an RTO are responsible for planning, developing, delivering and monitoring training and assessment that comply with the standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
